Donald Lee Walker, age 69, of New Canton, IL handed absent on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his house surrounded by family members. He was born on April 22, 1952 in Pittsfield, IL to Gerald and Julia Smith Walker. He married Janice Cox on December 12, 1975 in Pittsfield, IL and she survives.
Donnie graduated from West Pike Higher Faculty in 1971 and went on to get the job done numerous work opportunities prior to beginning at Callender Construction as a mechanic. He labored there for 43 several years and retired in 2018. Donnie liked fishing, searching, and paying time with his family. He travelled to Canada several decades with buddies and the past handful of instances with Janice and their grandson. He cherished paying his time woodworking, tinkering, and sitting on the porch, looking at the wildlife. Donnie was a loved ones person and a real individual. He could correct something and was a quiet, hardworking male who would aid any person.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 45 a long time, Janice Walker 3 daughters, Stephanie (Steve Johnson) Lear of Monroe Town, MO, Denise (Eric) Williams of Rhineland, MO, and Stacy (Troy Smith) Walker of Philadelphia, MO fourteen grandchildren, Kaleb (Haley) Bridgewater, Kristopher Bridgewater, Konnor Bridgewater, Harley Lear, Tanner Lear, Xander Johnson, Katelyn Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Rebecca Williams, Eric Williams II, DeLaney Williams, Victoria Benjamin, Zachary (Kaitlin) Smith, and AliceAnn Walker 4 fantastic grandchildren, Ava Rae Benjamin, Ayden Smith, Carter Smith, Laelah Ricks stepmother, Mabel Ann Kindle of New Canton, IL siblings, Junior (JoAnn) Walker of New Canton, IL, Twilla (Gene) Smith of New Canton, IL, John (Rosemary) Walker of New Canton, IL, Linda (Jill Hays) Coleman of Hannibal, MO, and Dollie Sexton of New Canton, IL brothers-in-law, Charles (Judy) Cox of Pittsfield, Gary (Janice) Cox of Pittsfield, IL, Kent (Wendy) Cox of Pittsfield, IL, Dwight Cox of St. Louis, MO, and Mark Cox of Florida sister-in-regulation, JoAnn Friedlieb of St. Louis, MO and a lot of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in demise by his mothers and fathers, Gerald and Julia Walker mom-in-law, Adela Cox father-in-legislation, Duane Cox fantastic grandchildren, Jaxton, Emerson, and Remington Benjamin brothers, Owen (Connie) Walker and Lyle Walker sisters, Della Minear and Minnie Hively nephews, David Walker, Robert Minear, and Tommy Manard and nieces, Rashelle Cox and Sally Walker.
Funeral companies will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 6:30 PM at Niebur Funeral Property in Pittsfield. Visitation will be held prior to the services on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the funeral household. Memorials are advised to be produced to Blessing Hospice or James E.
